arrived in UB city centre after very long day. Looking for dave's bar at midnight, that being the official finish line. Dave's bar closed a year ago! Found good 5* hotel for £75 a night then drank a bottle of vodka ¥~&@£.! Had beautiful shower and a great sleep followed by a scrumptious breakfast. Booked flights to Berlin arrive there at 12.45 local tomorrow. Plan is then to fly easy sleazy to liverpool timings to follow. Sold our spare fuel to travel agent and also getting a discount on flights for our remaining food. Mid day here now and all resting prior to Vodka time. See you all soon. The Unfortunates.

150 miles to go, and smokin the Mongolian prairie. Ian's tum is ok now. Hoping to hotel it in UB as we have not had a wash for 5 days, but, we still smell lovely! The car is hanging in there, it too is very dirty and needs a good wash. Cold beer will go down well tonight!

lots more problems today with the suspension and sump guard. Chippie is not impressed with the welding by RWB, it did well to last as long as it did in there conditions. It is now tied on with nylon rope, hose pipe and spanners? Slow start this morning due to more problems with car, things seem to be ok now, unch wood! Not a bad nights sleep, Ian D has started sleeping with Ian P, don't worry girls, it's only because his tent wont stay up. Ian D didn't sleep well due to indigestion. A shovel patrol soon sorted that out! We hope to be in UB tomorrow, finger crossed everybody!@
