That's it - I'm on my way to Beijing Airport and will be home this afternoon. Sad to see the adventure finally end. But what an adventure...

Well that's it, I'm in UB. Still pretty gutted that Berta's not with me, but at least I can say that I drove to Mongolia. Shower and sleep time.

On route to UB. Thought I'd got away with it, but finally having to endure yak butter tea. It is the rankest thing I have ever tasted. Hoping ** some text is missing **

Had an accident yesterday but I'm fine. Back wheels span out when I hit a patch of sandy gravel, I swerved, hit a bank and rolled the car right over then it landed on it's side. All I got was a grazed elbow. Berta now has no windscreen or side windows but other than that works fine. I'm only 4 days from the finish line so I'm carrying on. Don't worry mum!

Driving in Mongolia is soooooo much fun! God this is a magical place, it's made the three day wait at the border worthwhile. Had a small hole in the radiator hose caused by the sump guard but Chris fixed it. Luckily I broke down in a beautiful spot next to a lake so had lunch there. Have forded a few streams today but no raging rivers...yet!
