Life's just too safe so me (Nick), Ben and Marcus are doing the Mongol Rally in July, from Goodwood to Ulaanbaatar.
1 unsuitable car, 3 unsuitable characters, 10,000 miles and NO support. I can almost hear the parents worrying already!
Loosely the rules are that the car's got to be 1.2L or less, and less than 10yrs old, and there's no set route and no help at all.
We'll be driving a Skoda Felicia 1.3.
The aim is to raise at least £1000 (and the extra £100 for having a vehicle over the 1.2L rule) for two Mongolian charities called Mercy Corps and Christin Noble Foundation. On top of that we'd like to raise lots of money for our chosen charities - Stroke Association, Cancer Research UK, and Medecins Sans Frontieres.

You might be thinking that we'll be underprepared - but no! Corky's going to do a medics course, Ben's going to learn enough Russian/sign language so we can bribe officials, and don't panic cos I'm the mechanic.
